CFR Group in association with Machitech. Automation developped a robotic plasma cutting solution : the BeamCut system.

The avantages of the BeamCut are positionning by vision, input and output in-line system and the possibility to integrate option like drilling system.

A WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS

CFR/Machitech BeamCut allows to cut H-beam, tubes, channels, flatbars, angles and prepare plate for cutting simultaneously.

HIGH QUALITY COMPONENTS

• 6-axis robot and controller HP50-20 Motoman mounted on a linear servo track (7th axis) allow the robot to switch from the beam cutting area to the plate cutting zone to save time during operation.
• Hypertherm Plasma Source HPR 260 XD or HPR 400 XD + provides a high definition cuts. The plasma pierce up to 2" and edge cut up to 3.2

CUSTOM SOLUTIONS

• Servo assisted in/out conveyors for speed and accuracy on the material positionning.
• System works on both conveyor sides and keeps the material controllable during the operation.
